First we picked out books at our library. I checked out the books in my name and they will stay at school. Over the next couple of days we read our books. We read the books to our 4th grade buddies, to a first grade friend and also by ourselves.
Book Reports
Our first graders are working on book reports.
First we picked out books at our library. I checked out the books in my name and they will stay at school. Over the next couple of days we read our books. We read the books to our 4th grade buddies, to a first grade friend and also by ourselves.
Then we started the prewriting. We wrote down the characters, setting, problem, and solution.
The first graders will need to bring to school one colored poster board. The students may pick the color. Please have the poster board in by April 12th. We will be using the poster board to display our information for our book report. THE WHOLE PROJECT WILL BE COMPLETED AT SCHOOL. We will share the finished product at Muffins for Mom (May 17th) and Donuts for Dad (May 24th).
