Science Lab

Our class headed down to the science lab to do our first experiment!  We are learning how to record our observations and predict outcomes.  Today we drew our pennies before we put them in vinegar and predicted what would happen.  We will go back on Thursday to draw the results!  The focus is to learn how to be a scientist.  The first graders are going to learn how to use their curiosity to ask "I wonder" questions in science.  The goal is to encourage thinking skills through questioning,observation, and experimentation.
